Microblading in Garden City, NY
Microblading in Garden City, Long Island
What is Microblading?
Microblading is a highly meticulous semi-permanent form of cosmetic tattoo for the eyebrows. Its primary function is to shape and fill in sparse eyebrows in a natural looking way, creating the illusion of more hair on the brow.
This is done through a procedure called micro-pigmentation where a hand tool with a multi needle blade (12 very fine needles placed together) are used to make hair like scrapes on the brow as it inserts pigment into the epidermis (top layer of the skin).
The Procedure:
During the first hour of the procedure, the customized eyebrow shape is chosen and drawn until you’re absolutely happy with the shape. Then, a numbing cream is applied for 30 minutes to makes the procedure comfortable and pain free.
For the last 1 1/2 hour –
Each stroke is individually drawn one by one with a sterile MICROBLADING tool. Then the pigment is applied to the brows for 15 minutes.
All pigment used is mineral based and hypoallergenic. Pigment is picked specifically for your skin tone and natural hair to optimize your natural brow. We wait for it to settle and you are ready to go makeup free with a new set of brows!
Before the procedure:
5 days before your MICROBLADING appointment avoid the following:
- Retinol based products
- NSAID’s
- Vitamin E
- Alcohol
Results:
Results last about 12 months and require a 1 month touch up for optimal results.
